A few thoughts from Psalm 23:
God wants us to be a sheep (Psalm 23:1-4)
God wants us to be a soldier (Psalm 23:5)
God wants us to be a saint (Psalm 23:6)
In the Old Testament, The Lord introduced Himself as "I AM." This is like an incomplete sentence. In the New Testament the Lord completes His sentence when He says things like "I am The Light"…"I am The Bread of Life"…"I am the Way, the Truth and the Life."
Know Your Past

Luke 15:24 - The Father with His Prodigal Son
- Past
- Present - My son is Alive.
- He will receive the best garment.
- He will receive the best ring.
- He will receive the best shoes.
- Future
- He will look like the father.
- He will walk like the father.
- He will work like the father.

Note: The Father is at our right hand (Psalm 16:8). Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father (Ephesians 1:20). We are seated with the Father and the Son, sitting between them. God's Spirit is within us. We are inseparable. See John 10:28-30; Ephesians 2:4-7; 1:13-14; Romans 8:31-39
Ephesians 2:7 - He is the door and He opened the door for me to enter into His presence (John 10:9).
Revelation 3:20 - I need to open the door for Him to enter (Song of Solomon 5:2). |
